A teacher by profession the poet Mahadeb Kar was born in the lap of Bharati Debi, blessed with the blessings of Mahamaya at Taldangra. His father Mr. Panchanchanan Kar is a retired renowned teacher. Modest in behaviour, the poet had been an introvert type of character. Modest, sensible and kind poet displays a reflection of simplicity. He joined to the post of an assistant teacher at Pandit Raghunath Murmu Abasik School surrounded by natural scenic beauty on the lap of Susunia Hill under the block of Chhatna. He loves to watch plays, dramas, songs, dances, movies. He loves to spend time with children. He was married to the daughter of Uttam Dutta from Kenjakura. He likes to spend time with people. He loves to wander around new places. He likes to exercise physically through games and sports. He loves flowers. He becomes enchanted by songs. He believes that the child is the most innocent living being. His mother and father have utmost encouraged him to write poetry. His mother saw his first poetry book, "Unmesh". The poet wished that his mother would have seen his next poetry book, "Upasana", based on Gods and Goddesses. But he is unfortunate. He utters," Janani janmabhumishcha swargadapi gariyasi." The poet has already published "Unmesh" in the month of February 2018. He has been penning "Kolir Nitai" (a play), "Kichhu Katha" (essays), "Bahari Bankura" (a travelogue).
