Dr. Rajat kumar satapathy is the third son of his parent’s late shri padmacharan satapathy and late smt. Urmila satapathy of budhi chandi lane, tulasipur, cuttack-8, and Odisha. He is a creative sensation with inclination to painting, music and literature. Two books stand to his credit in English like "when a jasmine blooms on your lips" which is field with romantic idealism and "the whispering stones" based on the ruins of odissa. He has contributed some of his works to the collection in oriya named "barnali usha". He had translated in to oriya the best seller "how to win friends and influence people" of dale cornegie entitled "lok byabahar" he has contributed many articles including legal topics to different periodicals also. He was editing two journals like "mahaka" and "off times" in different times in odisha. He had taught law in different colleges and practiced as an advocate in odisha high court and now working as principal of pt. Motilal Nehru p.g. law college, chhatarpur, M.P. being involved in teaching and research law is his profession and literature is his passion. He has been awarded sobhadra kumari janma satabdi sanman by jemini akadimi of U.P. and many times placed in "who is who" of central sahitya akadimi of India.
