Poetry chooses the poet; He does not. An art form has always been bigger than the artist. And the artist can only chose the endeavor to be close to perfection in his art. Poetry is the essence of the soul. It is not based on rational thoughts; it is just felt and scribbled. To write a piece you have to wait in silence - crouching behind the world - to catch an instance of delight, of a gaze or a smile or even a word spoken of great influence that you know will last forever. One is helpless when one writes poetry. An indirect manifestation of love is poetry and in poetry seems to be the truth of this world.
